During the Advance Application Period (from March 1 to June 30, 2008), FSCO will be processing licensing applications for Mortgage Brokerages, Mortgage Administrators, Mortgage Brokers and Mortgage Agents.
In order to be licensed on July 1, 2008, businesses/individuals need to submit their licensing applications to FSCO prior to July 1, 2008. SINCE THE LICENSING PROCESS STARTS WITH THE MORTGAGE BROKERAGE, ALL MORTGAGE BROKERAGE APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED TO FSCO AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. This will ensure that FSCO has sufficient time to review Mortgage Brokerage licence applications, and that each Mortgage Brokerage has enough time to submit applications on behalf of its Mortgage Brokers and Agents.
FSCO is providing the licensing statistics below in order to keep the mortgage brokering industry up-to-date on the number of licensing applications that have been received and reviewed. Due to the large volume of applications, we encourage you to submit your licence application as early as possible.
