Licensing Changes Third Quarter 1993

Changes to licences for the quarter ended September 30, 1993, are listed below:

New companies:

CompCorp Life Insurance Company 3 August 1993

Conditionally licensed to write accident and sickness and life, Compcorp Life may acquire or reinsure policies from member companies of the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Compensation Corporation that are under winding-up orders. Compcorp Life can also service, reinsure or transfer these policies.

Discontinuing & withdrawing companies:

These three companies are discontinuing their operations and, accordingly, cannot write new business or renew existing contracts. With discontinuing licensing status, however, these companies remain obliged to service existing contracts and to settle claims under those contracts:
