PPG Canada Inc. Non-Contributory Pension Plan for Salaried Employees - January 3, 2008

ORDER

ON OR ABOUT December 18, 2006, the Superintendent of Financial Services (the “Superintendent”) issued a Notice of Proposal (the “NOP”) in respect of the PPG Canada Inc. Non-Contributory Pension Plan for Salaried Employees, Registration Number 0337048 (the  “Plan”).

A REQUEST FOR HEARING dated January 17, 2007 was received by the Financial Services Tribunal (the “Tribunal”) on January 18, 2007 in connection with this matter and a hearing was held on September 19 and 20, 2007.

THE TRIBUNAL, in its Reasons for Decision dated November 26, 2007 (the “Decision”), directed the Superintendent to proceed with the NOP and revoke the registration of Amendment 8 to the Plan.

NO APPEAL has been taken from the Decision under section 91 of the PBA by PPG Canada Inc. and, therefore, the Decision is final.

For the reasons set out in the Decision, I ORDER that the registration of Amendment 8 in respect of the PPG Canada Inc. Non-Contributory Retirement Plan for Salaried Employees, Registration Number 0337048, is revoked.
