INSURANCE

Agents

You’re encouraged to confirm the current status of a particular registrant’s license using FSCO’s Licensing Link application.  Licensing Link contains a record of all agents who currently hold an active licence and of those whose licence has expired within the last 24 months.

Companies

You’re encouraged to confirm the current status of a particular Insurance Company’s license by visiting FSCO’s Licensed Insurance Companies in Ontario list.  This list contains a record of all insurance companies who are currently licensed.

Corporate Agencies

You’re encouraged to confirm the current status of a particular Corporate Insurance Agency’s license using FSCO’s Licensing Link application.  Licensing Link contains a record of all corporate insurance agencies and partnerships which currently hold an active licence or whose licence has expired within the last three months.

Paralegals/SABS Representatives

You’re encouraged to confirm if a particular SABS Representative has: i.) met the above requirements and ii.) filed a declaration form with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario by visiting FSCO’s Paralegals/SABS Representatives page, where link to the Declaration Form and a list of all representatives who have filed is posted. NOTE: Paralegals/SABS Representatives listed on FSCO’s website are not licensed or endorsed by FSCO. They have simply met FSCO’s filing requirements.

MORTGAGE BROKERS

You’re encouraged to confirm the current registration status of a particular Mortgage Broker by visiting FSCO’s Licensing and Registration page, and clicking on the "Mortgage Brokers Registered in Ontario" link. The Mortgage Brokers Registered in Ontario listing contains a record of all mortgage brokers currently registered in Ontario.

CREDIT UNIONS & CAISSES POPULAIRES

You’re encouraged to confirm the current registration status of a particular Credit Union/Caisses Populaire by checking FSCO’s Ontario Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Listing. The listing contains a record of all credit unions and caisses populaires currently registered in Ontario and is updated as changes occur.

LOAN & TRUST CORPORATIONS

You’re encouraged to confirm the current registration status of a particular Loan or Trust Company by visiting FSCO’s Loan & Trust page, and clicking on the "Loan & Trust Companies Registered In Ontario" link. The Loan & Trust Companies Registered in Ontario listing contains a record of all loan & trust companies currently registered in Ontario.
